About the Jeep Wrangler 1:24
This is the Wrangler without the Rubicon extras: the standard car with the body-colour hardtop, the plain steel bumpers and the smaller tyres, which is how most Wranglers actually leave the showroom. The shape is the same, the seven-slot grille and round lamps that Jeep has protected as a trademark, the flat windscreen, the exposed hinges on each door.
The body is metal with the plastic bumpers and the hardtop in black, and the wheels are the five-spoke alloys on rubber tyres. It is a simpler model than the Rubicon in the same scale, with fewer opening parts, and it is priced to match.
It suits someone who wants the Jeep shape on a shelf without needing a roof that comes off; the Rubicon in 1:24 and 1:18 are the versions with the removable top.
Living with a 1:24 scale model
