About the Lamborghini Centenario 1:24

Lamborghini built forty Centenarios in 2016 to mark Ferruccio Lamborghini's hundredth birthday, twenty coupes and twenty roadsters, all sold before anyone saw one. The car is an Aventador underneath with a 770 hp V12 and a body that is mostly vents. This model is the most mechanically complete 1:24 we sell: everything that moves on the real car moves here.

The doors scissor up and forward on sprung hinges and stay open. The front bonnet lifts onto a small luggage well; the rear cover lifts over the V12 with its exposed intake. A lever raises the rear wing. Press the roof and the headlamps and tail lights come on with a sampled engine note. Pull it back and let go and it runs a couple of metres on a smooth floor. The body is metal in black with the green accent line along the sills, the chassis is plastic to house the motor and the sound board.

Living with a 1:24 scale model
