The AMG ONE is the car that took an actual Formula 1 engine, the 1.6-litre turbo V6 from Lewis Hamilton's championship cars, and put it in something with number plates. Only 275 were built and none came to India, so this is the closest most of us will get. The model captures the low, wide shape with the roof scoop, the vertical shark fin and the active rear wing in its raised position.

The rear clamshell lifts to show the power unit with its turbo and the two electric motors modelled in separate colours, and it is the single most detailed engine bay we sell at this scale. Doors open upward and forward on their proper dihedral hinges. The star-pattern graphic that fades from the doors to the rear is printed, not stickered, and lines up across the panel gaps. The wheels are centre-lock with the correct aero covers on the rear.

This is the model for a Formula 1 fan who wants a road car on the shelf, or for anyone who already has the W15 in 1:43 and wants the technology at a size you can see. It is heavy, around 850 g, and the shark fin is the part to protect when handling.
