Do the lights need batteries?

They use small button cells, fitted at the factory with a pull-tab to activate them. Replacements are the standard LR44 or AG13 size available at any watch shop.

About the Lexus LS 500h 1:24

The LS is the car that launched Lexus in 1989 and the 500h is the current one, a long, low saloon with the spindle grille that takes up most of the front and a hybrid V6 behind it. The model is the long-wheelbase car sold here, and the grille is the detail that makes or breaks a Lexus model: on this one it is a separate mesh insert rather than a print.

Doors, bonnet and boot open. The cabin has the wide dashboard with the analogue clock in the centre, the bonnet lifts over the V6, and the lights and a sampled engine work from a button. The rear axle carries a pull-back motor. It is made in white, black and a coffee brown; the photo shows the colour in stock.
