About the Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE 1:24

The 1LE is the track version of the Camaro SS, with a satin-black bonnet, a rear wing and a set of wider wheels, and in yellow it is the car most people recognise from the Transformers films. The model is that car: yellow body, black bonnet and stripes, the deep front splitter and the wing across the boot lid.

Doors, bonnet and boot open. Under the bonnet is the 6.2-litre V8 with the engine cover printed; the cabin has the Camaro's low roof and the round air vents in the dashboard. Lights and an engine sound work from a button, and the pull-back motor is in the rear axle. The wheels are the 1LE's dark ten-spoke design on rubber tyres.

It is the muscle car for someone younger, or for a Transformers fan, and it sits well opposite the Challenger and the Mustang in the same scale.

Living with a 1:24 scale model
