About the 1990 Honda NSX 1:24
The NSX was Honda's proof that a supercar could start every morning. Ayrton Senna helped set up the chassis, the body was aluminium, and the 3.0-litre V6 revved to 8,000 rpm with titanium con-rods. The model is the original 1990 car with the pop-up headlamps, the low wedge nose and the flying-buttress rear window, in the wide-body proportions of the real thing.
The doors open onto the NSX's famous low-scuttle cabin with the F-16-inspired wraparound glass, the front lid lifts onto the luggage well, and the rear deck lifts over the transverse V6 with its red cam covers. Lights and an engine sound work from a button. It is made in red, black and white; the photo shows what is on the shelf.
It suits the JDM collector and the Senna fan equally, and it pairs with the R34 and the AE86 in the same scale for a Japanese shelf.
